Dennis Zanatta brings 30+ years of experience in information systems, finance, and program management across consulting, corporate, and public sector environments. He has held roles with the Canadian Government, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and IBM, leading large financial ERP implementations and enterprise technology initiatives. He also spent 15 years at a private independent oil and gas company, advancing to controllership and serving as Finance and IT Manager during a six-year expatriate assignment in South America. Dennis joined Genius Road in 2018 as COO and CFO, overseeing finance, operations, compliance, and performance management. In 2026, he was named a finalist for Outstanding CFO Small Company in D CEO’s Financial Executive Awards. A Canadian, U.S., and Italian citizen, he is fluent in English and Spanish and can be “dangerous” in Italian, and French. He’s known for his monthly updates blending insights, humor, and team recognition, reflecting Genius Road’s people-first culture.

Suzy Schmitt brings 26+ years of leadership experience in staffing and technology, with expertise in sales, recruiting, HR, business operations, and workforce strategy. She has led large-scale staffing initiatives for mid-sized and Fortune 1000 organizations across multiple industries. At Genius Road, Suzy guides new client programs from onboarding through critical growth phases, managing national and multi-site staffing initiatives, Project RPO engagements, and contingent workforce programs to help organizations scale talent efficiently. She partners with sales, delivery, and executive teams to align workforce programs with client goals, establish repeatable processes, and ensure high-quality service. A Bachelor’s graduate in Mass Communication and Broadcasting from Georgia Southern University, Suzy balances her sharp strategic mind with a love for pickleball, where every hard-hitting shot is a “smash ball.” Whether on the court, in client meetings, or during the team’s monthly games, she thrives on keeping people engaged, challenged, and having fun while getting results.

Cheryl Miller brings over 25 years of leadership in technical consulting, recruiting, and corporate account management. She has successfully managed national accounts across both commercial and public sectors, partnering with organizations such as ERCOT, JPMorgan Chase, Texaco, and multiple Texas state agencies. Known as a trusted advisor, Cheryl excels at partnering with great clients to deliver outstanding talent solutions that drive measurable business results. She is a passionate advocate for women and diversity in technology and currently serves on the Advisory Board of Austin Women in Technology, an organization she previously led as President. Beyond her professional achievements, Cheryl is deeply committed to community service and regularly volunteers in various family-focused and charitable organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rhodes College. She has a proven track record of delivering high-quality talent for complex, high-volume engagements, supporting clients such as IBM, Lyondell, AmerisourceBergen, and multiple Texas state agencies. As a Lead Recruiter at Genius, Sherry focuses on sourcing and placing top technical professionals, ensuring timely and quality-driven results for our clients. Her career path includes advancing from National Recruiter to Director of Operations at a multi-billion-dollar corporation, managing large teams and supporting hundreds of contracted professionals.
