Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) extends Genius Road’s contract through 2023

(Austin, TX) – The Texas Department of Information Resources has exercised their option to extend Genius Road’s contract (Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC – DIR-CPO-4527) for another year. The agreement will allow Genius Road to continue delivering staffing services to the hundreds of public entities that DIR serves including state agencies, K–12 public education institutions, cities, counties, and other local governments, public universities and other higher education institutions. The mission of the DIR is to serve these entities “by leading the state’s technology strategy, protecting state technology infrastructure, and offering innovative and cost-effective solutions for all levels of government.”
Genius Road secured the original multi-year deal by successfully competing in a very thorough bid process back in April 2020. Genius Road President, Kimberly Zanatta, recently said, “We are thrilled to announce the extension of our contract with the DIR through August 2023. Since our initial award in 2020, our partnership with the DIR has grown significantly and we look forward to continuing to contribute to the DIR’s mission to “transform how Texas government serves Texans.”
